About the Firm
Jerry Wilcoxon
"Jerry Wilcoxon has spent over 40 years as a CPA, CFO, and valuation expert — working with everyone from C-suite executives, private company boards, and small business owners navigating a sale, a dispute, or a complex financial situation. Some of his most meaningful engagements have come when a business is in distress: owners who need someone to step in, assess the situation honestly, and deliver a solution. Whatever the size or complexity, every client gets Jerry's personal attention."

Professional Background
Areas of Expertise
Business Consulting & Fractional CFO
Having spent over 15 years of his career in industry as a Controller/CFO and a member of senior management teams, Jerry has been on the implementation side of consulting solutions — not just making recommendations, but implementing them.
Since 2001, Jerry has been involved in multiple fractional CFO engagements for businesses with annual revenues ranging from $1M to $75M, spanning logistics, warehousing, distribution, insurance, manufacturing, construction, and professional services — primarily in the Mid-Atlantic region, with engagements as far as South Florida and Louisiana.
He knows that clear and effective communication is the key to success in any consulting engagement that involves change within an organization.
Jerry also brings 20+ years of community bank board experience — including service on loan committees — giving him a firsthand understanding of the lending process. He helps clients assess their financing needs and match them with the right banking options, bridging the gap between what a business needs and what a lender wants to see.
Business Valuation & Litigation Support
Since 2006, Jerry has prepared over 400 valuation reports for purposes including gift and estate tax returns filed with the IRS, marital dissolution, and litigation support — working directly with principals on every engagement to provide timely and appropriate valuation solutions.
Jerry has also provided litigation support services including business valuation, forensic accounting, and damages calculations, and has testified in court on several occasions in Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina.
Exit Planning & Transaction Advisory
Jerry provides transaction advisory services for purposes of exit planning, merger and acquisition ("M&A"), quality of earnings reports ("QofE") and other forms of due diligence consulting, and post transaction support services. Jerry has the experience and depth to provide clients with the information to make informed decisions applicable to business transactions.
